Mary Faith Williams was born and raised in Menomonee Falls, WI.  At a very young age, she recognized her sinful condition and trusted Christ as her Savior.  She met her husband Jesse while in college, married in 2010, and has two children.  She enjoys working in the music ministry at Falls Baptist Church, as well as leading a ladies Bible Study through which she loves seeing women saved and discipled.

Mary Faith began teaching at BCM and Falls Baptist Academy in 2011, where she directs the elementary and middle school choirs, which were featured at the 2015 Wisconsin Governor’s Inauguration and have released a recording, Thou Art My God.  She teaches private and group piano lessons, and is the scenic designer for the annual production of A Christmas Carol as well as the other various interactive music school concerts. She thoroughly enjoys a good competitive board game, physical activity, and traveling with her husband – whether down the street to a favorite coffee shop, across the state to a beautiful campsite, or overseas exploring Europe.

From elementary through high school, she won numerous awards in violin, voice and piano, including first place in the Chopin Piano Competition hosted in Milwaukee. In 2007, she performed Grieg’s A Minor concerto with the Wisconsin Philharmonic as the winner of the Chapman Piano Competition.  She studied piano with Clara and Rick Saler of Wauwatosa, WI and continues her vocal studies with Michelle Hynson of Thiensville, WI.  Most recently, she has enjoyed presenting her research findings on piano sight reading at keyboard pedagogy and music teacher conventions in the Midwest.  She performs regularly with the Baptist College of Ministry Chorale and Symphony Orchestra, performing the soprano solos for Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Handel’s Messiah, and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem.  She has also been featured as a soloist in performances with the Bel Canto Chorus of Milwaukee. In 2010, she soloed with the Chamber Strings at the 64th annual Midwest Clinic in Chicago.

Mary Faith and her brother have collaborated together to produce two recordings (I Found a Friend and A Thrill of Hope) featuring works they composed for piano and cello.  She also created the Sing-along series – complete books of the Bible set to music.  Mary Faith has published sheet music, and her sacred arrangements for choir and orchestra are featured on several recordings.  She has also worked with her colleagues to create an accelerated beginner piano curriculum to enable students to play with ease and excellence.  Mary Faith is passionate about developing a love for music and instilling character in the next generation of music students.
