Jeff Futrell was born in Covington, Tennessee and has lived most of his life in and around Memphis, Tennessee. He was saved at the age of nine at Southside Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee.  He and his wife, Janet, met at church and were married in May, 1978.  They have 3 daughters who are all grown with families of their own.  After college, he began working in a large public accounting firm and then continued his accounting career with a large private company.  He took an early retirement in 1998 and started his own consulting firm.  At present, part of his work time is spent in his consulting firm and part in a small public accounting firm.

Jeff has served as a board member and treasurer/business manager of a mission agency in the Memphis area since 1985 and has taught at BCM since 2005.  He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1977 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He enjoys teaching Sunday School, playing with grandchildren, and following baseball.  He also enjoys visiting mission fields.  He has a great burden for missions and missionaries and is thankful to have a small part in training young people who are committed to serving the Lord.
