Dr. Greg Waller was born in Winfield, KS.  He asked the Lord to save him when he was a teenager attending a youth rally. While in college, Dr. Waller worked in a service station where he met his wife, Linda. They married the next year and have 2 sons and 4 grandsons.

After graduating from medical school in Kansas City, Mo he began his practice in Valley Falls, KS.  After practicing for 11 years, the Lord called him and his family into full time mission’s work in Guyana, South America where they were traditional church planters from 1997-2004.  After planting an indigenous church in Morashee, Guyana, they left the country over visa issues, and attended language school in Texas.

They discovered world- wide medical missions, and realized they could do so much more for the Lord in this area. He served as the medical doctor for other teams from 2005-2012.  In 2013, God led Dr. Waller to start Truth for Today Medical Missions, where he serves as Medical Director.  Dr. Waller began teaching missionary medical classes at Reaching Beyond Borders Camp in 2008.  He first joined the BCM adjunct faculty in 2013 with a single day class and has been teaching the winter block since then.

Dr. Waller currently travels throughout the world, leading medical and vision ministry teams for the purpose of promoting the gospel and starting new churches.  He is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary Club.  He is an avid hunter and shooter, when time allows, and enjoys fixing things and building projects.  He enjoys Mexican food and eating odd foods from around the world.

Dr. Waller’s moto for his ministry is “Caring hands reaching hardened hearts.” He ends every letter with “Unworthy but Willing.”
