(BCM alumnus - '12 & '14)

Through your generous giving to the International Leaders Project, I was able to complete both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at BCM. I now serve as a missionary to my own people in the Upper West Region of Ghana.

Since graduating with my M.A. in 2014, I have joined church planting outreaches in the Upper West Region of Ghana. I preach on radio stations on a regular basis, and teach at the West Africa Baptist College.

I prayed that God would raise up someone from my ministry in Ghana to receive the same education at BCM. The Lord opened the door for one of my students, Alexander Tingbani, to obtain a scholarship through the International Leaders Project. By God’s grace, Alexander is now studying for his master’s degree. His burden is to return to Ghana and help with the growing ministry.

Because of your gifts, I received excellent education that has played an important role in what I am doing today as a national missionary. Alexander and I would not have been able receive this training without your investment in the International Leadership Project.

My journey to BCM is one of faith and simply trusting God to do the impossible. I desired to pursue seminary training during my undergraduate years of Bible college in Ghana. However, since there is no independent fundamental Baptist seminary in my country, I knew I would have to get this training outside of the country. I prayerfully brought this desire before the Lord, and He began unfolding His plan for me.

While in my senior year of college in Ghana, after getting counsel from my parents and professors, I trusted the Lord to seek a scholarship that would enable me to pursue further training overseas. It was an impossible situation at that time, but I decided to trust the Lord completely. The International Leaders Project gave me the opportunity to attend Baptist Theological Seminary, while working for the college and seminary in order to cover my academic fees. What a blessing it has been to be a beneficiary of this aid! I am sincerely grateful to the Lord for giving me the privilege of studying at Baptist Theological Seminary.

The Lord has stirred my heart with a vision for future ministry. Upon returning to my home country, I strongly believe God would have me assist in the training of other men at my alma mater, West Africa Baptist College. I also desire for the Lord to use me as an evangelist and church planter in Ghana. I will work alongside other national pastors in training their members for soul winning and disciple making, so that each local church will be equipped to accomplish the Great Commission in their specific area.

Additionally, Ghana needs a youth movement that that will prepare the next generation of young believers for the challenges of their day. We must raise up the next generation of leaders who will be able to pass on to future generations the fear and knowledge of God.

I am grateful for every individual who continues to give to the International Leaders Project. Thank you for investing in my country and in the next generation of national Christian leaders.

We need your help...

While many non-profit organizations rely primarily on outside funding, BCM is largely self-funded. To date, the college has expended nearly $300,000 in the scholarships required for most of our foreign students to be able to receive training at BCM. The International Leaders Project is a self-perpetuating fund that provides continued scholarships for worthy international students. Your gift is essential to furthering our global mission of training tomorrow’s leaders.

Giving Options

One-Time Gift

Because this is a self-perpetuating fund, your one-time gift, no matter what the amount, will be multiplied and have long-term impact.

Recurring Gift

Consider giving to this fund on an annual or semiannual basis to help expand the opportunities for national leaders.

Monthly Support

We are looking for several churches or individuals to take on this investment in national leaders as a part of their monthly missions support.
