Wayne Van Gelderen

Founder & President

Wayne Van Gelderen, Jr. has been the pastor of Falls Baptist Church for over 30 years. Under his leadership, several hundred members have been trained to serve the Lord and are involved in the church’s small group ministry. He also started Falls Baptist Academy High School and Baptist College of Ministry and Theological Seminary to train the next generation of laborers for the harvest fields.

Jim Van Gelderen

Vice President

Evangelist Jim Van Gelderen is a 1982 graduate of Bob Jones University. He also received an MA from BJU in 1984. Since 1984 he has traveled with the Minutemen Evangelistic Team. Jim and his wife, Rhonda, have three daughters. Dr. Jim loves ministry to teenagers and college students. In addition to his ministry with Minutemen Ministries, he also serves as VP of Baptist College of Ministry, a position which he has held since 1999.

Stephen Zempel

Vice President of Administration

Stephen Zempel graduated from Bob Jones University in 1999 with a BA in Pastoral Studies, and graduated from the Baptist College of Ministry Seminary in 2003 with an MA in Bible. Since 2003, he has served as administrator of Baptist College of Ministry with an intense focus on the transfer of spiritual leadership from generation to generation. Stephen and his wife, Elizabeth, have two sons.

Micah Shoultz

Director of Student Affairs & Campus Development

Micah Shoultz, a Minnesota native, is a graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College and Baptist Theological Seminary. Micah oversees many of the operations on campus and is the Director of Student affairs, working alongside the deans and leading the student fellowships. He also serves on the pastoral team at Falls Baptist Church, overseeing outreach and development. He and his wife, Jenny, have seven children.

Daniel Van Gelderen

Director of Advancement and productions

Daniel J. Van Gelderen is an accomplished cellist, conductor, and composer. He and his wife Allyssa have a daughter and two sons. Because he loves helping young people find and follow God’s will for their lives, he enjoys leading the BCM Advancement team, as well as his other roles as professor and director of productions. He is passionate about training the next generation of young people to believe that God can use their lives to change the world.
